Exception for Internal Operations

GoDaddy serves as our domain registrar and DNS provider, meaning it manages the routing of our domain name to our website. Our website itself is hosted and operated on the Wix platform (see Section B below). In its role as domain registrar and DNS provider, GoDaddy may process limited technical data, which may include:

• IP addresses and device information (for server security, traffic routing, and spam/abuse prevention)

• Server log data (pages requested, time of access, referring URLs)

• Data you submit through any web forms hosted on our site

 

GoDaddy acts in a limited capacity as our domain registrar and DNS provider. GoDaddy maintains its own privacy policy, which can be reviewed at godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy. GoDaddy is a U.S.-based company, and any data it processes in this capacity may be stored on servers located in the United States. GoDaddy does not host our website content or process visitor data submitted through our site’s forms or features — those functions are handled by Wix (see Section B below).

 

GoDaddy Analytics

Because our website content is hosted on Wix (see Section B below) and not directly on GoDaddy’s servers, GoDaddy’s built-in analytics tools do not apply to our site. Our website is built and hosted on the Wix platform, operated by Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv Street, Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel, and its U.S. affiliate Wix.com Inc., 500 Terry A. François Blvd., San Francisco, CA 94158. Our domain name is registered through GoDaddy and points to this Wix-hosted site. As the platform and hosting provider, Wix processes personal data as a necessary part of delivering our website to your child. This may include:

• IP addresses and device information (for content delivery, security, and traffic routing)

• Server log data (pages requested, time of access, browser type, referring URLs)

• Data your child submits through forms, contact pages, or other interactive features on our site

Wix acts as a data processor on our behalf for website hosting and platform services. Wix is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and complies with GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and other applicable privacy laws. Wix’s servers may be located in the United States or other countries. Wix Analytics

Wix provides built-in website analytics tools that may collect aggregate, non-personally-identifying statistics about how visitors use our site (such as page views, session duration, and general traffic patterns). We configure these tools to minimize data collection and to avoid collecting personal information from children. Wix’s analytics data is governed by Wix’s Privacy Policy.

 

C. Website Analytics — Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. Because our site includes content directed at children, we will ensure the following specific steps have been taken to configure Google Analytics in a COPPA-compliant manner:

• IP anonymization is enabled — the last portion of each visitor’s IP address is masked before storage, so no full IP address is retained by Google.

• Advertising features and remarketing are disabled — we do not use Google Analytics to serve ads or build advertising audiences.

• Data sharing with Google’s advertising products is disabled.

• User ID tracking is not used on child-directed pages.

• Google Signals is disabled, preventing cross-device tracking of children.

• Data retention in Google Analytics is set to the minimum available period.

 

Even with these configurations, Google Analytics places cookies on your device to distinguish visitors and track sessions. The primary cookies used by Google Analytics include:

• _ga — Used to distinguish users. Expires after 2 years.

• _gid — Used to distinguish users. Expires after 24 hours.

• _gat — Used to throttle request rate. Expires after 1 minute.

 

Google Analytics data collected through our site is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google’s data processing terms. Google may transfer data to servers located in the United States or other countries. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transatlantic data transfers.

Important note regarding child-directed content: We will ensure that our representations to Google, as required by Google’s policies for child-directed content, make clear that content on our site is directed at children under 13. This designation restricts how Google may use any data collected through our site and requires Google to treat such data in accordance with COPPA.

 

D. Embedded Video Content — YouTube

Our website may include video content embedded from YouTube, a platform owned by Google LLC. We are committed to protecting children’s privacy in connection with all embedded YouTube content and have implemented the following safeguards:

 

YouTube Privacy-Enhanced Mode (youtube-nocookie.com)

All YouTube videos embedded on our site will use YouTube’s Privacy-Enhanced Mode (also called “no-cookie embed” mode), which loads videos from youtube-nocookie.com instead of youtube.com. Under Privacy-Enhanced Mode:

• YouTube does not place cookies on your device until you actively click to play a video.

• YouTube does not use embedded video views to personalize YouTube’s ad recommendations to the viewer.

• Viewing activity on our embedded videos is not used to build a profile of the child viewer for advertising purposes.

 

What YouTube May Still Collect

Even with Privacy-Enhanced Mode, if a visitor clicks to play an embedded video, YouTube may collect certain technical data, including:

• IP address (for content delivery and geographic rights management)

• Device and browser information

• Viewing interactions (play, pause, watch duration)

• A unique session or device identifier

 

If a child or parent is logged into a Google or YouTube account when they visit our site and play a video, YouTube may associate that viewing activity with their account. We strongly recommend that parents ensure children are not logged into Google or YouTube accounts when using our site, or that they use a browser profile without Google sign-in.

 

YouTube’s COPPA Compliance

YouTube’s content embedded on child-directed sites is subject to YouTube’s policies for Made for Kids content and the requirements of COPPA. YouTube is independently responsible for its own compliance with applicable law in connection with data it collects. YouTube’s privacy practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

 

Parental Controls for YouTube

Parents who wish to prevent all YouTube data collection when their child uses our site may:

• Block third-party cookies in their browser settings (this will prevent YouTube cookies from being set even when a video is played).

• Use a browser extension to block YouTube embeds (such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger).

• Ensure their child is not signed into any Google account while browsing our site.
